Peter Drayton Wines
Peter Drayton is a 5th generation descendant of the Drayton Family in Australia.
Peter is a proud producer of a range of award winning wines at his Ironbark Hill vineyard. Set at the foot of the Brokenback range, the 40 hectare property has 18 hectares under vine and includes a Cellar Door, Wedding Chapel, Function Centre, Accommodation and a newly built custom Brewery.
The vineyard produces wine from the grape varieties for which the Hunter is famous, including Shiraz, Semillon and Chardonnay. It also has extensive plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Verdelho and the CSIRO hybrid grape Tyrian. As well as delicately crafted premium dry wines, Peter Drayton Wines also produces sparkling wines and a selection of Liqueur Fortified wines. The extent of the range is truly exceptional for a small, boutique producer.
Piggs Peak
Piggs Peake is a very interesting little winery. Since winemaker Steve Langham took the reins in 2003 it has rapidly become known as one of the wineries to watch in Australia. Ask to speak to Steve or Robert, they'll look after you.

The first vintage was produced in 1997, with an absolute focus and determination to specialise in producing top shelf examples of the two signature varieties of the Hunter Valley, Semillon and Shiraz.
